Europe On Film

I spent most of 2014 living in Paris and traveling around Europe.  The prospect of shooting in Paris for such an extended period of time was really thrilling.  But as luck would have it, my digital camera broke the first week I arrived and never turned back on.  Luckily I brought a 35mm camera and told myself "this is a great excuse to shoot lots of film", something I have not been doing much of lately.  Eventually my 35mm began to fail me as well.  But even luckier still - I brought a backup 35mm and was able to keep shooting.  Paris in particular is a city that I feel is best represented on black and white film.  It's timeless feeling both ancient and modern, beautiful and grungy, classic and edgy.  These photographs are a collection spanning several months and there's more to come!
